Class requires participation to both online and in-person session.
The American Red Cross Safety Training for Swim Coaches (STSC) course, developed in partnership with USA Swimming, is intended to teach those involved in competitive swimming how to help: Maintain a comfortable and safe environment for swimmers. Prevent accidents and emergencies. Respond to swimmers with illnesses or injuries in water or on land.
Safety Training for Swim Coaches includes an online web-based delivery of content and a facility-based in-water skills session.

Pay Red Cross $25 for the online program. Concurrently register on this page for the in-person session with Safety Training Pros.
Participants must be 15 years or older. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Safety Training for Swim Coaches certificate valid for 2 years.
Please note: Class is non-refundable and non-transferable. Failure to complete course pre-work, failure to show up or late arrivals, or failure of any portion of the class is non-refundable. The class will require some physical activity. If a medical condition or disability exists that might prevent participation in the activities, or if there are questions about fully participating in the course, please contact us to discuss this before enrolling.
