At Safety Training Pros / Foster Calm Wilderness Medicine, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all individuals. Guided by the principles of Collaboration, Respect, and Safe Learning, we aim to create a space where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive together.

Our Commitment to Inclusivity

• We celebrate and welcome people of all races, ethnicities, places of origin, gender identities, gender expressions, sexual orientations, religions, creeds, and abilities to join us in learning life-saving skills.
• We recognize and affirm that gender is diverse and expansive, and we honor and respect individuals’ pronouns and expressions of self. This includes ensuring our language, materials, and interactions are inclusive and representative of all gender experiences.
• As allies, we work diligently to maintain a safe and respectful learning environment where every individual feels valued and supported.
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for hate, discrimination, or behavior that undermines the safety and inclusivity of our learning spaces. 

Supporting Marginalized Communities

• We stand in solidarity with BIPOC, Latine, LGBTQIA+, and other marginalized communities, using our platform to amplify voices of justice and equity.
• We acknowledge the systemic racism, discrimination, and violence that impact Black, Indigenous, and other Communities of Color, and we are dedicated to creating safe, judgment-free spaces for learning and certification.
• We recognize the unique challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, and we are committed to creating an inclusive and adaptive learning experience that meets their needs.
• We actively incorporate materials and practices that address disparities in medical education, such as training on how conditions appear on various skin tones and recognizing diverse health needs across gender identities and expressions. Black Skin Matters and so do inclusive practices for all.

• We offer private and tailored classes for BIPOC, Latine, LGBTQIA+, and disability-focused groups to ensure training meets the unique needs of these communities.
