Safety Training Pros, Inc.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of https://safetytrainingpros.com and your participation in classes or services provided by Safety Training Pros, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing the website or registering for any class, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, do not use the website or register for services.

1. Use of the Website

You may use the website for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Interfere with the website’s operation
• Attempt to access systems without permission
• Upload or transmit harmful code
• Copy or distribute website content without written authorization

We may update, suspend, or modify website features at any time.

2. Class Registration and Participation

A. Registration

A class seat is confirmed once payment is received. Some classes include pre-course work or hands-on requirements. Failure to complete required steps may prevent certification.

B. Student Responsibilities

Participants must follow all instructions provided during training, including safety directions during skills practice or scenarios.

C. Physical Activity Notice (CPR/First Aid and Similar Classes)

CPR, First Aid, BLS, EMR, and other skills-based programs involve physical activity such as kneeling and performing compressions. Students should inform the instructor of any limitations. Reasonable modifications may be offered.

This notice is not a liability waiver.

3. Payment, Refunds, and Transfers

A. Payment

Payments are processed through PayPal. We do not store full payment card details.

B. Refunds

Unless otherwise stated in a class description or contract, all registrations for Safety Training Pros classes are non-refundable. Class transfers may be allowed on a case-by-case basis if space is available in a future session. Requests must be submitted prior to the scheduled class date.

For corporate or business clients, refund and rescheduling terms are governed by the Training Agreement for that engagement.

Certain courses, including online, blended, or resource-intensive programs, may have additional non-refundable components. These details will be provided at the time of registration or in the Training Agreement.

4. Group and On-Site Training

Clients hosting private or on-site training must:

• Provide a suitable training space
• Submit accurate attendance counts
• Follow any location-specific instructions provided by our staff

Additional fees may apply for travel, parking, or special arrangements.

5. Certification

Certification is granted upon successful completion of all required course elements. Standards and course content follow the requirements and guidelines of the issuing organization.

We do not guarantee certification for any participant.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, course materials, manuals, graphics, text, videos, and branding are owned by or licensed to Safety Training Pros, Inc. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or modified without written authorization.

Students may use training materials for personal learning only.

7. Photos, Videos, and Reviews

A. Photos and Videos

Safety Training Pros, Inc. may take photos or videos during classes for training, educational, or promotional purposes. These images may include participants engaged in skills practice or group activities. Participation in a class constitutes acknowledgment that photos or videos may be taken.

If a participant does not wish to appear in any photos or videos, they may opt out at any time by informing the instructor before or during class. Safety Training Pros will make reasonable efforts to exclude individuals who opt out from identifiable images.

B. Public Reviews

Reviews posted publicly (Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc.) may be used in marketing materials. We may display the review text and the reviewer’s first name or screen name.

8. Third-Party Tools and Integrations

The website uses tools and integrations such as:

• Google Analytics
• Google Ads
• Meta Pixel
• Zoho CRM
• Constant Contact or similar email tools
• YouTube or Google Maps embeds
• PayPal payment processing

These third parties may collect information as part of their services.

9. Safety and Physical Risks (General Statement)

Training programs may involve physical contact, equipment use, or participation in simulated emergency activities. Some programs involve water environments or outdoor settings.
Specific programs, including Wilderness and Aquatic/Lifeguard training, require signing a separate liability waiver before participation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Safety Training Pros, Inc. is not liable for:

• Indirect or incidental damages
• Loss of business or income
• Injuries or property damage arising from participation in training
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific class or service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safety Training Pros, Inc., its staff, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from claims or losses arising from misuse of the website, violation of these terms, or conduct during training.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before any lawsuit is filed, the parties agree to attempt mediation in California.
If mediation does not resolve the issue, disputes shall be brought exclusively in California state courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The revised date will appear at the top of the page. Continued use of the website or participation in classes indicates acceptance of any changes.
