Adult CPR/AED with Basic First Aid (4½ hours)

Safety Training ClassPrepare your staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses in victims over 8 years old until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This course covers first aid, adult CPR and AED training. 2-year certification

Adult CPR/AED (2½ hours)

Safety Training ClassFor employers who need adult CPR/AED training only, this hands-on skills training prepares participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in victims over 8 years old. 2-year certification

 


Child & Infant CPR/AED (2½ hours)

Safety Training ClassThis course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children age 8 and younger. 2-year certification


Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED (3½ hours)

Safety Training ClassIncludes training for all age groups. 2-year certification


Basic First Aid (2 hours)

Safety Training ClassParticipants learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies, such as bleeding, burns, cuts and scrapes, sudden illnesses (stroke, diabetic, seizure, allergic reaction, poisoning, and bites and stings), head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies. 2-year certification

Bloodborne Pathogens (2 hours)

Safety Training ClassThis course meets OSHA’s revised Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. This course teaches participants how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to prevent exposures and what to do if exposed to infectious materials. 1-year certification


Emergency Oxygen Administration (2 hours)

Safety Training ClassGives participants the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency using breathing devices, including resuscitation masks, bag-valve-mask resuscitators (BVMs) and emergency oxygen. 2-year certification


Renewal Courses:

Review and Challenge ClassesStudents returning before the end of their certification period can renew their certification in a renewal training class. Training time is typically shorter than initial training.


Challenge Courses:

Review and Challenge ClassesDo you really know your stuff? How about a challenge course? Experienced students can challenge the ASHI CPR/AED or BFA training program using performance evaluations. Participants much arrive prepared for skill test and must perform competently without assistance on performance evaluations for all covered age groups. If they do not pass the challenge, they can enroll in a full course.
