Available Positions:
CPR and First Aid Instructor
Location: Varies

Job Overview:
Join an elite group of professionals who teach lifesaving skills in a variety of classes. As an Urban Rescue Instructor, you’ll prepare lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, and provide feedback to students. Classes are conducted at local businesses, schools, community centers, and other locations. You’ll travel to different settings and perform on-site training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all participants.
- Set up, transport, and organize all class materials necessary to run the course.
- Provide high-quality, engaging instruction to participants.
- Prepare and teach lesson plans in alignment with required guidelines, teaching methods, and content requirements.
- Follow standard course curriculum.
- Demonstrate techniques and ensure students’ understanding and mastery of the subject matter.
- Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, students, and coworkers.
- Perform daily routine duties as assigned.
- Maintain thorough familiarity with treatment protocols and company policies.
- Complete administrative work in a timely and thorough manner.
- Adapt to different teaching situations.
- Exhibit leadership and decision-making abilities.
Requirements:
- Reliability and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in online, web-based technology, including learning management systems.
- Access to a phone, laptop, internet, and email.
- Ability to travel to worksites with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for the entire shift, and bend/kneel on the floor to demonstrate resuscitation techniques.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Emergency medical experience (Lifeguard, EMR, WFR, EMT, EMT-P, Firefighter, etc.).
- Teaching experience in CPR, First Aid, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of class content, techniques, and best practices.
- Certifications as an instructor through Health & Safety Institute (HSI), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Heart Association (AHA).
- Availability to work weekends and evenings occasionally.

Wilderness First Aid & First Responder Instructor
Location: Varies

Job Overview:
Join an elite group of professionals who teach lifesaving skills in wilderness and remote environments. As a Wilderness Medicine Instructor, you’ll prepare lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, and provide hands-on training in backcountry first aid scenarios. Classes are conducted at outdoor locations, camps, businesses, and community centers. You’ll travel to different settings and perform on-site training to ensure participants gain the confidence and skills to handle emergencies in remote areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all participants, especially in outdoor environments.
- Set up, transport, and organize all class materials necessary to run the course.
- Provide high-quality, engaging instruction focused on wilderness medicine principles and remote emergency response.
- Prepare and teach lesson plans in alignment with recognized wilderness first aid standards and course content requirements.
- Demonstrate techniques and ensure students’ understanding and mastery of wilderness first aid skills, including patient assessment, splinting, environmental emergencies, and evacuation planning.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, partners, students, and coworkers.
- Adapt to different teaching situations, including outdoor, hands-on scenarios in varied terrain.
- Exhibit leadership and decision-making abilities in an outdoor instructional setting.
Requirements:
- Reliable and professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Availability to work weekends.

- Ability to travel to worksites with a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.

- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Emergency medical or outdoor leadership experience (Wilderness First Responder, EMT, EMT-P, Firefighter, Search & Rescue, Outdoor Guide, etc.).
- Teaching experience in wilderness first aid, outdoor education, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of backcountry medicine, environmental emergencies, and remote patient care.
- Certifications as an instructor through Health & Safety Institute (HSI), American Red Cross (ARC), or equivalent wilderness medicine organizations.
- Experience with risk management and emergency preparedness in outdoor environments.

Customer Service & Sales Specialist
Location: Varies

Job Title: Customer Service and Sales Specialist
Location: Hybrid (In-office in Sacramento, & can do some remote work)
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (W-2 Employee, Flexible Based on Availability)
Pay: $20 per hour to start, with a bonus program for meeting sales objectives
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (some flexibility available)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Customer Service and Sales Specialist to play a vital role in supporting our clients, ensuring exceptional service, and driving sales growth. This role is split between customer service, administrative, and sales/marketing, requiring strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Answer phone, email, and live chat inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Process class registrations and assist clients with scheduling.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address questions.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Assist with data entry, document updates, and other administrative tasks.
Sales & Marketing
- Respond to inquiries from potential customers and provide information on services.
- Follow up with prior customers to encourage repeat business.
- Create and post engaging content on social media platforms.
- Track and report on sales inquiries and performance.
- Assist in updating and managing marketing materials.
Administrative
- Ability to manage inventory (cleaning, packing, and organizing materials).
- Experience with office equipment (printers, fax machines, audiovisual tools, etc.).
- Experience updating operational manuals or internal documents.
- Send out class information to enrolled students.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Reliable and professional demeanor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- General computer proficiency, especially with CRM software, social media management tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in customer service or sales.
- Familiarity with the health & safety training industry.
- EMT or other safety training certifications.
