Lifeguard (25 hours) $235
Learn the knowledge and skills needed to help prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice, you’ll learn patron rescue and surveillance skills, land and water rescue skills as wells as first aid and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers. Optional add on modules include Waterpark or Waterfront Lifeguarding. Prerequisites: Must be at least 15 years old and pass certain swimming requirements. Lifeguard Review (13 hours) $139
The review course format optimizes a participant’s ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skills evaluations. Shallow Water Lifeguard (24 hours) $235
Provides entry-level shallow water lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies in shallow water up to 5 feet deep and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. 2 year certification Enroll now
Shallow Water Lifeguard Review (12 hours) $139
The purpose of a review course is to give individuals the opportunity to review the course content within a formal course setting. The review course format optimizes a participant’s ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skills evaluations. CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers (5½ hours) $93
Designed for Lifeguards, this program combines discussions, video and hands-on training. Real-life rescue scenarios reinforce decision-making skills. Free online quarterly refreshers. Course covers how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants including primary assessment, 1 and 2-rescuer CPR, AED, ventilations, BVM, and airway obstructions. This course is comparable to American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers. This course meets the 2010 ECC guidelines. Optional training in use of epinephrine auto-injectors and asthma inhalers available. First Aid for Public Safety Personnel (Title 22) (15 hours) $139

Administering Emergency Oxygen (1 hour and 40 minutes) $45
Gives participants the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to a victim of a breathing emergency using breathing devices, including resuscitation masks, bag-valve-mask resuscitators (BVMs) and emergency oxygen. Prerequisites: Current adult, child or infant CPR certification. Bloodborne Pathogens Training (1½-2 hours) $45
This course meets OSHA’s revised Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. To teach employees how bloodborne pathogens are spread; how to help prevent exposure incidents by following work practice controls, using engineering controls and personal protective equipment, practicing good personal hygiene and properly cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies; and how to recognize, report and follow up on employee exposures to infectious materials. 1-year certification Enroll now
Water Rescue (4 hours) $59
Provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to many types of aquatic emergencies. Basic Water Rescue course targeted audiences include: public safety personnel, police officers, firefighters, emergency medical services (EMS) personnel, parents including foster or adoptive, teachers or coaches, counselors, therapists, or other individuals who care for children, camp personnel and trip leaders, daycare workers, clubs and organizations engaging in water activities, such as Girl Scouts of the USA, Boy Scouts of America and Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs of America. Water fitness instructors, aquatic therapists, aquatic rehabilitation specialists and anyone else involved in water activities for recreation and health. Individuals who work on or around the water, such as industrial workers, marina staff, concession staff, and water-based ride attendants at amusement parks. Waterpark (3 hours, 40 minutes)
The purpose of the Waterpark Skills module is to teach lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in aquatic facilities with waterpark features. 2 year American Red Cross certificate indicating Waterpark Skills. The Waterpark Skills certificate is only valid when accompanied by a current American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED or Shallow Water Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED. Waterfront (5 hours, 40 minutes)
The purpose of the Waterfront Skills module is to teach lifeguards the skills and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to emergencies in non-surf, open-water areas found at public parks, resorts, summer camps and campgrounds. The Waterfront Skills certificate is only valid when accompanied by a current American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
