Professional Rescuers or Healthcare Providers

Are you a public safety personnel such as firefighter, lifeguard, police officer or a correctional officer? Do you work as a medical personnel like an EMT/paramedic, healthcare provider, nurse, dentist, or emergency medical responder? Are you a member of an industrial response team, athletic trainer, ski patrol, workplace safety team member, or do you have a duty to respond in an emergency?
We offer a variety of course options with continuing ed credits available.
If you are a business or group with professional rescuers you can schedule an onsite class training. If you are an individual or small group, you can choose an open enrollment class. Open enrollment classes are held at various locations in Sacramento and the surrounding region. You can determine the course location by clicking on the Enroll Now option above and selecting the course that interests you on the course calendar. Then select more details. Choose from either American Red Cross (ARC) training or American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) training. Both training programs are nationally recognized and are endorsed, accepted, approved, or meet the requirements of over 1000 state regulatory agencies and occupational licensing boards, including those licensing Emergency Medical Service providers, physicians, pharmacists, dental health professionals, child care providers, law enforcement officers, school teachers, and many others.
Or you can opt for the ASHI blended learning program where you complete part of the program online and then meet with an instructor for skill practice. You will receive the same certificate as you would by attending the entire class in person!

ASHI classes are shorter and offer a lower cost training program.
